Dad, alternatively, was quite definitely into comfort meals. Each Weekend, we’d sit back and enjoy a huge batch of Dad’s fried chicken, sweet corn, the creamiest mashed potatoes and if we were lucky, smooth rolls. Sometimes green beans were included too. After the race, I enjoyed a huge cheat meal with Tony, accompanied by two of these chocolate peanut butter truffles that were waiting patiently for me within the freezer.
