LENTILS inside a dessert? You think I’m crazy? Weird? Cute? Maybe it’s a combo.
We’ll reach this dessert soon. To begin with, it’s Friday!
I actually haven’t slept all freaking week. I desire I was kidding. I am finding your way through the start of a brand new site for work and so we’ve been occupied plugging away, remaining past due, and chugging coffee. I’ve also been trying to get back into training after going for a little over a week off. Last night I went to my favorite yoga exercises sculpt course. Ummmm you men… it was 100 % pure hell and After all that in the simplest way possible. I actually thought I was going to throw up on my yoga exercise mat, and pig feet nutrition value that never happens if you ask me (sorry for being so descriptive). I assume that’s what happens following a week of holiday wines and cookie inhaling.
Today I rewarded myself with a small dark hot chocolate. I figured that I haven’t had a real hot delicious chocolate in age range, and I felt like I required a sweet deal with to maintain me going. Let me tell you, it was Thus worthwhile. I actually topped mine with extra whipped cream. It is important to treat you to ultimately just a little indulgence; I am hoping you all perform the same this weekend!
Okay, okay. Peanut Butter Delicious chocolate Chip Oatmeal Lentil Blondies.
Yeah, we should discuss these gems.
So here it goes: These bars are pretty much the fudgiest peanut butter chocolate chip blondie EVER. You can’t even taste the lentils – whatever you get is a chewy, fudgy club filled with peanut butter taste. YES, it’s true.
What’s unique about this recipe would be that the lentils are cooked then pureed using the peanut butter, as a result you don’t end up receiving chunks of lentils in your pub. I used reddish colored lentils as they have a sweeter taste than green, nevertheless, you can use everything you have readily available. I usually get them from Investor Joe’s or Entire Foods.
I actually also made a fascinating discovery after baking these bars: they’re amazing frozen! Usually everytime I bake, I have to freeze my goodies so I don’t eat them all. However, I came across myself poking my mind in the refrigerator late one night and bit into one of these while they were frozen cold; these were incredible! Somehow the pubs were still fudgy and packed with peanut butter taste. They also experience decadent making me like them even more.
Another tip to create these even more addicting: Sprinkle them with just a little sea salt after baking. The salty sweet peanut butter & chocolates combo is one of my favorites.
Let me understand if you make sure they are. I’m wanting to see what you think! Have an excellent weekend! xoxo

And the chocolate chips, do you utilize semi-sweet or dark?
We made these. Superb! In future I will use peanut butter natural powder to help make the recipe lower in fats. I used half agave nectar and fifty percent maple syrup. Agave is normally cheaper, lol. I crave sweets often and I’m pleased there are formulas for healthful deserts like these brownies. I’m an enormous fan of lentils and love all types. I used green lentils with this formula and they worked out well.
I actually also made the Moroccan lentil butternut squash stew and it tasted so wonderful!
