Oops! I forgot to do a post on my July favorites!
Instead I needed to catch you through to my life; what is pigs feet like I’m doing, working on, and loving! Most of this calls for food.
We haven’t had a special recipe for FAR too longer. How rude of me.
Butter + glucose + lots of love in types of cakes and cookies just around the corner.
AND PIE…. that’s another apparent.
I’ve found that cookie dough is really crazy great and addicting. BUT I think the smell of homemade cookies out of the oven is better still; I would never get sick of coming home towards the aroma of newly baked chocolates chip cookies.
That’s why somebody should bottle it up and sell it as a men’s cologne. Instant millionaire!
There are an abundance of zucchinis how big is my arm in my garden. They are not genetically modified therefore i don’t know what’s taking place there. Good stuff will come of this though, I guarantee.
I love creating feel-good recipes with clean summer produce.
You understand, when I’m not wanting to eat pie.
This just seems to be the summer of cooking food! Every second I obtain I’m in the kitchen doing so many things at once.
Just look at that odd brown-greenish sauce! That it is an incredible homemade green chile sauce. I put it on everything for a week straight.
Things are getting really good in my kitchen. Like actually, really freaking great. I can’t stop having a great time. No, no…. probably life is getting good? Like really, really freaking great? I am 23 after all!
And because I am 23, my veins work on caffeine.
WAIT… that’s not right, is it? I’m supposed to only need espresso once I have kids. This might be an issue someday.
Until then, I still love a good sit down elsewhere. To me, it is the perfect way to start out my morning. My roommate introduced me to the French Press annnndddd it could be the best thing ever. I also really love Peet’s Coffee
Since being in LA, I’ve been trying to look at new restaurants. On Sunday, I had formed these incredible baby scallops and a fresh summer time salad with figs and pea shoots at Hot’s Kitchen After that delicious watermelon and mint cocktails at Silvio’s BBQ
But do you want to know my favorite discovery was?
A little social house with a super creative chef: Manhattan Seaside Post We went there for brunch this last weekend. I ordered a Burrata and Roasted Red Pepper sandwich and my pal had and incredible eggs benedict on top of a bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit. HOLY… what?! So soooooo good.
I’ve been hearing Lana Del Rey’s album non-stop; Summertime Sadness is certainly one of the best songs. Her voice makes me feel just like I’ve been tossed back to the 60’s. Just listen!
My mom made me plantains which are a traditional staple in Puerto Rico. You can find countless ways to prepare and utilize them. Don’t they appear to be bananas?
