My day starts off by waking up at 5:30am. I used to dread the first mornings but these days I find myself rather savoring peeling the addresses off, sleepily grinding coffees and making a pot, feeding the kitty and heading out the door for my workout.
The schedule keeps me motivated and encourages me to go to bed at a decent hour (more often than not anyway). I’ve also found that I enjoy getting the rest of my time free to function without the anticipation of exercising afterwards. Occasionally I do rest in until around 7am, but it’s becoming more rare.
After I go back home from my workouts, I crave my breakfast so it’s a lot easier to have it prepped then to create it. I’m not laying when I say I start considering breakfast time before I go to bed.
