Mocha Banana Protein Smoothie Bowl with all the current toppings your center desires
This last weekend Sarah of Broma Bakery found stay with me in Chicago and we treated ourselves to something sweet every single day. It was a bit unusual if you ask me but lifestyle is all about stability, well-being and feasting on happy moments; sometimes these special occasions call for freezing yogurt , doughnuts AND chocolates chip pancakes Ha!
We’d the very best period together and I cannot wait to talk about more photos in our cooking as well as our Chicago ventures! For the time being, I’m getting back to eating all the veggies and indulging in healthier goodies (instead of doughnuts).
Anyone that has learned me well may attest to the fact which i am an enormous advocate of a treat during the day as well as before bed. Actually, Tony always provides me this absurd look anytime I ask for frozen yogurt or perhaps a bedtime treat because it’s a must have in my world. Even a little treat such as a spoonful of almond butter using a sprinkle of sea salt can usually give me the best satisfaction.
It should be noted that I also have a tendency to eat lighter meals so for a dynamic person like me, it’s only organic to crave something around 9 or 10PM.
MUST HAVE Snack foods.
And undoubtedly, periodically a spoonful of nut butter along with a banana just does not slice it. Or when I’m craving something special and creamy like iced yogurt, but I don’t feel just like leaving the house just to get to get it (alright, but occasionally I do… ha).
Lately I am doing my own healthy version of fro yo at home. It’s extremely easy and basically just involves providing a creamy heavy protein smoothie in a dish, covering it together with your favorite toppings and eating it having a spoon! I know, super nice stuff the following but you know you LUVS it. It creates breakfast feel just like a real treat.
You’d actually be surprised at how thick and creamy these smoothie bowls can get, especially with a scoop of protein powder in the mix. On top of that, you can make these with your own personal favorite protein powder and blend and match the type of fruit goes into the smoothie. Lately I’ve been right into a chocolates banana proteins smoothie bowl because chocolate makes me feel like I’ve indulged a little. I use a chocolates protein natural powder and Chocolate Almond Breeze almond milk. Various other favorite smoothie bowls include strawberry banana, blueberry vanilla, raspberry peach… actually there are just too many to name.
I frequently enjoy these for breakfast hence why you see a quick coffee packet within the picture over. Mocha smoothie bowls FTW! There are endless possibilities here therefore if your a iced yogurt and/or pig feet Vs ham Hocks sugary teeth fanatic like me, I’m sure you’ll find this easy foundation recipe to can be found in handy.

Add all ingredients except desired toppings to some blender and blend until even and creamy. If necessary, add even more almond dairy and/or ice to reach the desired uniformity. The smoothie should be fairly thick to enable you to eat it having a spoon.
Pour into a bowl and best with desired toppings such as for example chia and granola. Serves 1.
