Lately it feels as if time is passing by prematurely, like yesterday there is snow on the ground and wasn’t it just Christmas after i baked a batch of cinnamon rolls and all brunched in our pajamas? There are specific times once i appreciate how quickly the hours fade, similar to the sunset at night. And other days where all Let me do is linger in these moments for a couple times, bathing in every drop of memory space and happiness. But as we understand, life will pass you by in the event that you spend a lot of time thinking about the past or future.
This has been my mantra lately. Live in the moment. Perform what you experience is right. Always trust your heart.
I’ve been on the quest to visit more; there’s something about it that feeds my spirit, filling it with knowledge, contentment, experience and love. I am towards the Caribbean, Az, Minnesota and Tx all within the last month. I’ve valued every second, each air travel and along the way discovered that I worth experiences over points, as I understand that I’ll keep in mind these moments as long as I live. Cheesy very much? Ha.
I want to share with you the last section of my trip to the Caribbean with Princess Cruises. The very first part of my trip was about the excursions and what we do at each port This time around I’m thrilled to enable you to get a glimpse in to the food we ate as well as the recollections we made collectively! Honestly I couldn’t possess asked for a better way to introduce Spring.
OH AND SPRING TIME OUTFITS!!!
Let me simply mention that now that I home based, dressing up doesn’t happen often. I love wearing dressing and buying an insane amount of heels; I think I have to make Tony consider me out even more rather than snuggling along with some weirdo Netflix displays (lately I am into Bates Motel).
Upper right: Fried calamari. Decrease right: Burrata salad.
Now, about the food!
There really isn’t anything bad to say approximately the food around the cruise ship. There were several restaurants with several different culinary styles including italian, steak and seafood, a pastry shop, pizza, gelato and coffee bars. I under no circumstances once felt limited by my dining choices, particularly when it found the buffet that was packed with fruits, veggies and freshly prepared worldwide cuisines. DELICIOUS.
As you know, my mom came over the trip with me. She’s mainly a vegetarian but she hardly ever sensed deprived and was constantly able to require things produced vegetarian. The chefs were wonderful this way.
Even in the restaurants, I could have lighter lunch choices. This is among my favorites – a dark bean taquito like dish. They were baked rather than fried, vegetarian and full of flavor!
Another thing We loved was being in a position to enjoy 4 or 5 5 course meals. Significantly, it was meals overload.
We also experienced the Chef’s Desk , which is an intimate dining experience including a custom made menu with wine pairings. We were even invited in to the kitchens; it had been immaculate and smelt amazing.
We received champagne and small bites to sample while we watched them prepare pasta.
The menu was interesting and I do mean that in a great way! The chef ready unique courses for us. My favorite was most likely the margarita sorbet palette cleanser… it actually acquired a tequila drizzle!
I just want to quick mention among my favorite treats too!
While at St. Maarten we got probably the most fantastic gelato; I opted for caramel and coconut. My mom got the cherry amaretto and it had been basically the Ideal gelato I’ve ever tasted in my own life. Granted I haven’t gone to Italy yet.
Either way, it was an excellent experience and I remaining the island content. My only regret is not getting out to the additional side of the island to see the real meals. I always love to enjoy food like a regional and actually diverge myself in to the culture.
While back in the dispatch, my two favorite go to snacks were a small greek salad and unlimited soft serve. The salad was refreshing and fantastic with clean shrimp. Also, I really had to make sure I was eating lighter lunches due to my 5 program dinners and sweets twice per time.

Because I prefer soft serve snow cream and frozen yogurt, the unlimited little cones were such a nice refresher specifically after laying out all day long. Also… SPRINKLES!
