Kidding… kinda.
Anyway this entire Zac Efron factor pig feet vs ham hocks stemmed from watching The Lucky One for the next time. I understand, poor film choice. The only excuse I could come up with is that ROMANTIC DAYS CELEBRATION is just about the corner and I simply so are actually a sucker for anything romantic. Therefore sue me!
Besides good-looking males, my other obsessions this week include peanut butter and jelly chocolates bars from Investor Joe’s, lentil soup, and green coffee beans with garlic clove. Yum, yum, yummmmmm. Significantly I could compose a book regarding the intricacies of garlic and how I slather it in and on almost anything you can imagine.
Or I could just tell you about the garlic and parmesan crusted poultry I made and how it proved golden brown and incredibly crispy.
Yeah, let’s opt for that.
Sometimes Personally i think like it’s hard to create chicken delicious. Frequently, I’ll buy a pound and just stare on the package, trying to figure out what to period it with or how I can incorporate it into a meal. This time around I jazzed up the it up a little having a crispy finish and loads of taste. New obsession? Of course.
The chicken is marinated in olive oil, a little bit of greek yogurt (to keep the chicken moist), garlic, lemon juice, and new herbs for 30 minutes. Once finished bathing in the love, it’s coated in panko loaf of bread crumbs and parmesan mozzarella cheese and baked to a crisp. Delicious is exactly what it is! Plus, it’s ideal matched with my garlic-roasted red potato wedges and a salad.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons plain greek yogurt, mayo, or sour cream
1 teaspoon fresh crushed rosemary
1 teaspoon finely chopped clean thyme leaves
4 huge garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Essential olive oil cooking spray
Instructions
Place chicken chest in large ziploc handbag and add olive oil, yogurt, rosemary, thyme, garlic clove, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Zip shut and shake bag to consistently distribute marinade. Place bag in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
Heat the oven 400 levels F. Series a cooking sheet with foil and match a cable rack. Aerosol the rack with olive oil cooking spray and set aside.
Place panko and cheese into a shallow huge dish and whisk to mix. Set aside.
Once chicken is performed marinating, remove from bag and put on a large plate. Pat off extra marinade from the chicken, you do not want it too wet! Sprinkle chicken with a little more salt and pepper and dip into the panko-cheese mixture, tossing to evenly layer. Place the poultry onto prepared cable rack and repeat with remaining rooster breasts. Spray the top of the rooster having a bit of olive oil cooking spray.
Bake for approximately 25-35 mins or until chicken is and golden brown and juices work crystal clear. Garnish with clean chopped basil, herbal products, or additional parmesan cheese if desired. Take note: baking situations will differ with regards to the size of your chicken breasts.
