It’s Christmas purchasing time and We haven’t even gone yet! I’ve got lists to make and things to do. I need to stop dyeing my hair and get serious about my holiday purchasing strategy. Standing up in line seriously isn’t my point. I’m also vacationing for the next week, therefore i have to get it together soon!
In order to be successful in my shopping endeavors, I’ve got to resist the urge to bake pies and purchase adorable baking pans for myself.
I know you know what I’m talking about.
This year I made cookies for the fantastic Food Blogger Cookie Swap , an incredible nationwide cookie exchange hosted by Love & Olive Oil Over 22,000 cookies were sent all over the world within the swap! Wow, that is clearly a lot of giving. It creates me pleased to know that you can find people out there who have the same love of cooking that I do. You’re amazing!
One of the best presents I’ve ever gotten was a KitchenAid mixer. I can make almost anything with it. Given that was an ideal gift for me. It produced me recognize that person totally got me. If you are generally just terrible at giving gifts, it’s always better to just choose issues that you have memories of with see your face. For example, I’m thinking about making someone a common pie and giving them a master knife set. Pie=I treatment, knifes=I know you like sharp things!
Producing peanut butter cookies is a great way to find yourself in your gift giving imagination.
Rolo Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies? I simply can’t get more than enough!
Chilled peanut butter dough can be wrapped throughout the candy. Don’t you know chocolate, caramel and peanut butter lead to one incredible cookie? Duh, that’s why they make Peanut Butter Twix pubs.
While building these I crafted up my very own personal wish list and Personally i think like writing! Miscellaneous baking and cooking items are actually number one, but I’d be on the moon if I got a lovely new camera. Other activities I’ve jotted down include cranberry high heels, yoga slacks, and a fresh apron.
I’d very much rather provide a present than receive one though. In fact, I’d become ecstatic to make a pie for anyone who’d request. If cookies put a smile on your own face, you know I’m there. Baking for others is similar to a present to myself.
These make great last-minute gifts too. Move them in sugars for some sparkle.
