I have no idea why but drinking a large glass of hot cocoa before bed makes me incredibly happy. One among my newfound obsessions. Other things I’m into lately consist of cinnamon roasted almonds, smiling at everyone I find, working out to the song , and avoiding traffic all the time. At one stage this week I used to be contemplating buying a bus so I could ride the shoulder. It was the only alternative I could think about until I came across the DC Metro. Good news: since I won’t be purchasing a bus, you are still safe on the road.

Happy you’re settling in to DC – Metro is definitely the strategy to use, especially if you live close enough to some Metro stop. Those folks that reside in the suburbs often have to operate a vehicle just to GET to a Metro. Once you’re on, though, it’s hanging around – but beware of Metro Middle and L’Enfant Plaza during hurry hour – you’ll feel just like a sardine stuck in an underground can!
