I have a few foods that I’ve fond thoughts of. They continue being my favorites throughout the years.
This got me thinking… what makes food memorable? It really is simply the taste of it? Or even more of what we should associate with this food experiences?
Every time I’ve hot chocolates I’m taken back to when I used to ice skate with my girlfriends. We’d get a glass of wealthy creamy popular cocoa with excessive jumbo marshmallows, dairy, and all things that fitness publications state we shouldn’t have.
When I want to enjoy things like that, I remind myself that I’m just living life. You understand, enjoying those simple moments filled up with laughter, good food and camaraderie. In fact, those occasions are building memories. So damn right, I’m having that scorching chocolate!
Often times I actually wonder why We find pumpkin pie to become the best dessert on earth. After all, it’s so simple! But consuming pumpkin pie reminds me of the first time I made a pie by simply by myself. How I crafted the crust with such dedication. In that extremely moment, I used to be discovering my interest and Pigs Trotters creativity for baking. So really it isn’t the dessert itself, it is the memories that come with each bite.
Today it’s my soul food; it feeds me happiness by means of good memories.
To date, among my favorite meals was scallops with spaghetti squash, roasted red peppers, with this incredible creamy sauce. It was finished with a chocolate soufflé and wealthy chocolate snow cream. Which needless to say I devoured. I believe it’s memorable to me specifically because of the person I was with.
Time spent with great people can make meals special. This I understand to be accurate. Just think about some of your preferred foods. Or the very best meal you’ve ever had. It was probably more of an event and storage rather just based on taste alone.
Okay and something last food memory of mine… I must confess that I absolutely adore bread. Oh my goodness, in any shape or form.
It’s simply heavenly.
During the vacations I used to live for my Grandmother’s buttery croissants. I can still remember the taste of them and exactly how they utilized to simply melt in my mouth. These days I try to consume bread much less, but I still don’t believe I could live with out a slice (with creamy whipped butter… omg!).
Sometimes I get serious yearnings for a cut french loaf of bread. It’s the best and I really like dipping it in marinara sauce, producing garlic bread for any side, or even French loaf of bread pizzas! I’d have critical withdrawals easily ever stopped eating it. Call me the carb queen. Whatever!
I must tell you that roasted grapes, creamy brie mozzarella cheese, and honey is one of the most delicious combos which could ever be put on bread. I don’t know why I haven’t roasted grapes before, but they are sugary and perfect in every method. I also made a decision to slice the france loaf lengthwise for this crostini, because I love toasty crunch on the outside from the bread, while still creating a gentle middle. Mmmmmm….
HANG ON. I almost overlook the sea salt. Which you obviously know I put on most nice things to make sure they are a million moments better.
This is a seriously delicious appetizer (or snack!) that you will not forget anytime soon.

The French…including People from france women…would by no means consider you a Carb Queen”…but as NORMAL..
Sometime the easiest things will be the most memorable.
Taste is a sense that is close to smell the oldest olfactory connection to storage. Like smells , flavor triggers and instant association. I can’t wait to try this combo.
