I don’t know why but taking in a large cup of hot cocoa before bed makes me incredibly happy. One among my newfound obsessions. Other things I’m into lately consist of cinnamon roasted almonds, smiling at everyone I see, working out to the song , and avoiding traffic all the time. At one stage this week I used to be contemplating buying a bus therefore i could trip the shoulder. It had been the only solution I could think about until I came across the DC Metro. Good news: since I will not be purchasing a bus, you are still safe on the road.
Besides that I am mega busy! Meeting fabulous new friends, training at 5am (it must be done), and focusing on my 23 things list I’ve got a few checked off.
It’s restaurant week in DC aswell, which means I finally got to encounter lobster for the first time. Baklava too! Finally the world is practical to me.
…I went on a date too. But that’s a different story for the different time.
We’re here to focus on Burgers people. Merely good and totally dreamy! I’m simply looking out for you.
The thing is, I’ve put the baking on hold for just a little. Bombarding you with high-class cakes and cinnamon rolls may be too soon after the holidays.
No, that isn’t right is it? It’s never too early. These things are often good. The smell of chocolate chip cookies is truly a necessity in life and cinnamon rolls certainly are a reason to awaken each day. Wouldn’t you agree?
I’ll be up in that person with photos of sweet cakes and delicious chocolate things made with love before very long. For the present time, we’re skipping the extra whip cream on your own latte and those marathons of Cupcakes Wars. It’s just too tempting.
I will however demonstrate my cute new apron with cupcakes on it. See?
Back to the burgers.
Don’t actually pretend you don’t like them. You can’t fool me. Seriously burger lovers! I produced these turkey burgers zesty and I produced them simply for you.
They have got onion, oregano, along with a bit of Dijon mustard. Red pepper flakes provides it a little punch. Ka-pow!
Kiss meat burgers goodbye.
Pitas totally help to make these incredible, but adding feta, tomato, and avocado gives you the perfect healthy burger. Spicy sugary potato fries had been served privately. Your switch! It’s a super basic recipe that anyone can make.
By Monique of Ambitious Kitchen
1/3 cup finely chopped white onion
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 pound lean ground turkey
2 whole wheat grains pitas, cut in half
Preheat oven to 400 levels F. Line baking sheet with foil and aerosol with cooking aerosol.
To help make the burgers combine first 7 ingredients. Divide mix into four servings and shape right into a 1/2 inch-thick patty. Place your patties on foil, and lightly aerosol patties with cooking aerosol. Sprinkle some reddish colored pepper flakes together with each patty if you’d like just a little spice. Place into oven and bake your burgers for approximately 20 minutes, flipping burgers halfway through.
Remove burgers from oven once done and immediately place into half a pita. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of feta parmesan cheese, tomato cut, and avocado slices.
Yum, yum, yum. I really like everything concerning the title of the post – everything. I’ve a specific affinity for turkey burgers myself – I’ve blogged about several different recipes!
Pleased you’re settling directly into DC – Metro is definitely the strategy to use, especially if you live close enough to some Metro end. Those of us that live in the suburbs often have to drive just to GET to a Metro. Once you’re on, though, it’s hanging around – but beware of Metro Center and L’Enfant Plaza during hurry hour – you’ll feel like a sardine trapped in an underground can!
After looking at your blog, I noticed your from throughout the DC area (type of). That’s great!
I did can get on the wrong Metro last week and finished up at the Pentagon. It’s a sensible way to experience the city, right? That’s what I told myself anyway.
Turkey burgers are simply fabulous. I’m truly addicted, and they are very moist. Wish you make!
This appears sooo good! I have already been totally MIA from the blog world in the past month so I just caught up on all of your formulas- YUM!
Also, so excited to see among your goals to be always a yoga instructor!!
