Do you like pecan pie? How about toasty, nutty pecans on top of coffee cake? Or those cinnamon-sugar pecans around The holiday season? Mmmm completely yes.
A few days ago, I was strolling around Investor Joe’s checking out all the new products once i pointed out that there really weren’t that lots of nut butters besides almond and peanut. And I hate to break it to you, but cookie butter doesn’t count number.
Anyway now Personally i think like I’m about some kind of quest. I HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE NUT BUTTERS. Or at least a few. Anything I could smear on toast or spread all over my pancakes is crucial.
Pecans happen to be my new favourite nut, so I opted to create pecan butter that taste like the flavors of fall in a jar.
You know you need some.
The best part about this is that it’s completely an easy task to make and only takes about 5 minutes!
Just toast some pecans inside your oven for a couple minutes, after that throw them in the meals processor and blend until it’s fine and easy. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Evenly spread pecans with an ungreased baking sheet. Toast pecans in oven for 6-8 a few minutes, being careful not to burn off nuts. Mine were properly toasted at 8 mins. Remove from range and allow nuts to cool for a couple minutes.
Transfer to mason jar or box and store at room temperatures or in fridge. If you shop at room temp, simply give the pecan butter a stir before you utilize it.
