I’ve been considering a lot lately about this blog and what it represents if you ask me.
I’ve go to the conclusion that it’s so much more than just posting recipes; this website is a location for inspiration and stories. At least that’s what I’ve usually tried to make it; however, lately I feel like I’m obtaining further from that.
It simply feels… redundant. I have to put my interest back into it.
Therefore, we’re getting back again to it! Back again to when I shared my inspiration, fitness posts, healthful living tips, dreams, and stories! More personalized. I am hoping you don’t mind, but it isn’t just food which makes me happy anymore; it’s the tale behind the meals.
First Let me tell you about the first time I fell deeply in love with pumpkin. I was 9 years old and my mom and I cooked a pie from scrape. The ease and comfort pumpkin pie brings me is usually unparalleled.
I’m also a huge lover of oatmeal that i really didn’t start eating until I had been in college. Today I eat oatmeal pancakes, bowls of oatmeal, and oatmeal in muffins! I really like how healthy it is and am constantly trying to find new methods to add it to my quality recipes.
Now I know some of you’re requesting an oatmeal breakfast time recipe and so I place two of my favorite things together for an extremely delicious fall breakfast time. Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal!
Pumpkin pie spices within a lightly sweetened oatmeal breakfast time bake. Uncertain if you can have a breakfast much better than this. I’m in like!
Oh and I must not forget to inform you about those bananas on top. I tossed sliced up bananas inside a bit of brownish glucose and vanilla bean. You guyssssss. It’s amazing!
The bananas caramelize when bake and pig feet dinner put under the broiler for a couple minutes at the end of cooking. They’re slightly crispy and fantastic, and just add a little bit of sweetness towards the oatmeal.
This recipe is simple to throw together, too! Just whisk up moist and dry substances, combine together, after that bake for just a little over 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for breakfast throughout the week, or you can also freeze and reheat for later! I love reducing mine into squares and savoring them being a pre-workout morning hours snack! It is also great drizzled with just a little extra maple syrup.
1/2 teaspoon lightweight aluminum free baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 3/4 glass unsweetened vanilla almond milk (regular, soy or coconut milk also functions)
2 medium ripe bananas, sliced
2 teaspoons brownish sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Apply 9×13 glass baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Add bananas, brown sugar, vanilla, and vanilla coffee beans to a medium bowl. Provide it a few stirs so that brown sugar coats all of the bananas; set aside.
In a large bowl whisk together oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
In a separate large dish, combine pumpkin, egg whites, maple syrup, and vanilla; blend until easy and creamy. Whisk in almond dairy until well mixed. Add pumpkin mixture to the dry mixture – blend well. Pour into ready pan and consistently top with brown glucose vanilla bean banana pieces.
Bake for 35 mins or until top is golden dark brown and oatmeal is set. Sprinkle a little more brownish sugar on top of bananas; start broiler and broil for a couple minutes (watch carefully!). Scoop into bowls and serve instantly with extra almond dairy or cinnamon, if desired. Makes 6 portions.

I have a recipe for any baked banana, oats, and Nutella dish I made about a yr ago. This reminds me from it b/c of the chopped up bananas and exactly how they get a small caramelized. Wow, I bet they are just so scrumptious!
One more issue. May be the vanilla bean necessary? Could extra vanilla extract be used instead?
So, I produced this dish for the 2nd time this week, and it arrived so superior to the first time I made it. As I stated in an earlier post, I accidentally left out the almond milk the 1st time. So this time I made sure to include it, and the oatmeal arrived actually moist. Another thing I did, was add bananas into the wet ingredients, in addition to the caramelized bananas at the top. This really added to the recipe.
I just need to express that We haven’t had the opportunity to prevent eating it. This really is an unbelievable recipe. For those of you who haven’t made it yet, I desire you to do so. This really is a special formula!!!!
