I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this blog and what it represents to me.
I’ve get to the final outcome that it’s so much more than just posting recipes; this website is a place for motivation and stories. At least that’s what I’ve generally tried to make it; however, recently Personally i think like I’m getting further from that.
It just feels… redundant. I must put my interest back into it.
So, we’re getting back again to it! Back to when I shared my motivation, fitness posts, healthful living tips, dreams, pigs feet and red beans tales! More personalized. I hope you don’t brain, but it’s not just food which makes me happy anymore; it’s the tale behind the meals.
First Let me tell you about the first time I fell deeply in love with pumpkin. I was 9 yrs . old and my mother and I baked a pie from scrape. The convenience pumpkin pie brings me is usually unparalleled.
I’m also a huge fan of oatmeal that i really didn’t start eating until I used to be in college. Today I eat oatmeal pancakes, bowls of oatmeal, and oatmeal in muffins! I really like how healthy it really is and am constantly trying to find new methods to add it to my recipes.
Now I understand some of you’re requesting an oatmeal breakfast time recipe therefore i put two of my favorite things collectively for an extremely delicious fall breakfast time. Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal!
Pumpkin pie spices inside a lightly sweetened oatmeal breakfast time bake. Not sure when you can have a breakfast much better than this. I’m in like!
Oh and I have to not forget to tell you on the subject of those bananas at the top. I tossed chopped up bananas inside a bit of dark brown glucose and vanilla bean. You guyssssss. It’s amazing!
The bananas caramelize when bake and put beneath the broiler for a few minutes by the end of cooking. They’re slightly crispy and fantastic, and just add a little sweetness towards the oatmeal.
This recipe is simple to throw together, too! Just whisk up moist and dry ingredients, combine together, after that bake for just a little over thirty minutes. Cover and refrigerate for breakfast throughout the week, or you can also freeze and reheat for afterwards! I love reducing mine into squares and experiencing them being a pre-workout morning snack! It is also fantastic drizzled with just a little extra maple syrup.
1/2 teaspoon aluminum free cooking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (regular, soy or coconut milk also functions)
2 medium ripe bananas, sliced
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray 9×13 glass baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Add bananas, brown glucose, vanilla, and vanilla coffee beans to a medium bowl. Provide it a few stirs in order that dark brown sugar coats every one of the bananas; set aside.
In a large bowl whisk together oats, baking natural powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.

I’ve a recipe to get a baked banana, oats, and Nutella dish We made in regards to a calendar year back. This reminds me from it b/c of the chopped up bananas and how they get yourself a little caramelized. Wow, I bet they are just so scrumptious!
One more question. Is the vanilla bean necessary? Could extra vanilla remove be used instead?
So, I produced this dish for the next time this week, and it arrived so superior to the first time I managed to get. As I pointed out in an previous post, I accidentally left out the almond dairy the first time. So this period I ensured to include it, and the oatmeal arrived really moist.
