At this time I’m on a aircraft to Utah, heading to Solitude Vacation resort in Park City for a lovely skiing trip. It’s funny, I don’t remember the last period I went skiing. Probably 7th quality? I don’t remember being too terrible so probably I’ll pick it right back up again. Or I’ll just fall on my ass and revel in a really good workout. In any event, it will likely be a blast.
And honestly, I’m thus excited for the others of December! Lots of cookie baking, a secondary to Florida and Minnesota for Christmas.
A few strategies for making homemade nut butters:
1.) Add coconut oil for any creamier texture. If you discover that your nut butter isn’t as creamy as you would do pigs like feet, feel absolve to add a teaspoon or two of coconut essential oil to help process.
2.) Homemade nut butters may take a while to make. This is dependent on how solid your food processor is (or you can use a Vitamix!). It is also attributed to how much essential oil are within the nuts. Usually homemade almond butter takes around 20 minutes to make.
When you are searching for other homemade nut butters, here are some of my favorites:

Preheat oven to 350 levels F. On huge baking sheet disseminate almonds and cashews and roast in oven for ten minutes until somewhat brown. Be careful not to burn the nuts! Great for 10 minutes.
Transfer nuts to the bowl of a meals processor and process for 10-15 mins, scraping straight down the sides seeing that necessary (on the subject of every two minutes). At this time the nut products should start to clump collectively. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil and continue steadily to process until you reach the desired consistency; add another teaspoon of coconut essential oil if you want it creamier.
Next add vanilla extract, coconut sugar and sea salt. Procedure once again for 30 mere seconds. Taste and add more sodium or coconut glucose if necessary.
Next add cacao nibs and pulse a few times to incorporate nibs in to the nut butter.
Transfer to some mason jar and store at room temperature for a week. Shop in fridge for a month if you want it to go longer.
