A few years ago, Joanna from A Cup of Jo published pictures to my most famous cookie I’ve ever placed on my blog ( Nutella-stuffed delicious chocolate chip cookies !). Immediately my site crashed, and people came from the masses to make my so known as life-changing cookie”. It was clear to see why: brown butter, brown sugar cookie dough, Nutella, chocolates chips, and sea salt; everything a cookie ought to be and so much more. It was the very first cookie I ever cooked my boyfriend and one of the reason why we dropped in love (cookies can do this, you understand!). The dough can be rich and includes a small butterscotch taste that I believe can not be resisted.
Three years later and that Nutella-stuffed chocolate chip cookie is still my most popular recipe through the holidays, one that stands out on a wholesome meal and wholesome dessert blog, and for good reason. This year Joanna asked me to talk about a recipe on her behalf site with something chocoaltey. I understand how much she adores Nutella, so I decided on a new – and easier edition – of my most famous cookie, except in pub form. This recipe requires no chilling of the dough, which means you needn’t hold out forever to enjoy!
So what are these bars? Dark brown butter-brown sugar chocolate chip cookie dough having a layer of that lovable sugary nutella in the middle topped with another layer of brown glucose cookie dough. Bake until golden then generously sprinkle pubs with sea salt. Absolute nice and salty blondie excellence.

Nutella Stuffed Brown Butter Blondies with Ocean Salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
2 cups darkish sugar (light brown sugar functions too)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9×13 in . pan with parchment paper. A 7×11 inch pan will also work well.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high temperature. The butter will quickly crackle and foam. Make sure you whisk regularly during this procedure. After a couple of minutes, the butter will quickly brown on the bottom of the saucepan; continue to whisk and remove from warmth as soon as the butter starts to brown and give away a nutty aroma. Instantly transfer the butter to a bowl to prevent burning. Set aside to awesome for ten minutes. It is VERY important to allow butter cool therefore please do not miss this step.
With an electric mixer, mix the brown butter and sugar until thoroughly blended. Defeat within the eggs and vanilla until well mixed, simple and creamy (about 1 min). Add the dry ingredients slowly and defeat on low-speed simply until mixed. Gently fold in all of the chocolates chips.
Separate the cookie dough batter in half. Spread half of cookie dough onto prepared pan, patting for the edges. Make an effort to ensure that the batter can be evenly distributed; it will look like a thin coating but they will bake up and be glorious.
Drop Nutella by tablespoonfuls on top of first layer of cookie dough. You will want to do this all around the skillet, leaving handful of space for the edges. Next, spread Nutella using a spatula so that it’s within an actually layer on top of the cookie dough. Top Nutella with staying batter, making sure Nutella is completely covered. Suggestion: I drop a small number of cookie dough in different areas on top of the Nutella, then use my hands to pat the cookie dough into a straight layer.
Bake for 23-27 mins or until edges begin to turn hook golden brown. I love to undertake mine a little therefore they stay gooey and soft in the centre. Allow to cool on a cable rack for 20 moments before cutting into bars.
These turn to die for with the chocolate as well as the salt as well as the gooeyness !
