A delicious smoothie made with wild blueberries, banana, almond dairy and spinach to get a nutritional boost. Finished with a sprinkle of chia seeds for a wholesome dosage of omega-3.
Hello. Let me proceed to tell you about how strange I am.
Last night I had developed this uncontrollable craving for broccoli after my workout. Simply steamed broccoli with ocean sodium and pepper. Quite ridiculous really, but I definitely needed it. So off to Target I went. Except you know when you head into Target, it’s not like you’re strolling correct out. Nope, you are going to be there for at least one hour filling up your cart with factors you never understood you required. Classic example: Vanilla Cupcake Goldfish. They fundamentally flavor like sweetened small pet cracker cookies. And if you’ve been right here a while, you understand how I REALLY LIKE animal crackers (especially frosted). Oh and also, coconut milk conditioner. YUM.
I finally managed to leave Target with two bags full. By enough time I arrived home I USED TO BE STARVING. Do you ever get to the main point where you’re so hungry that you can’t even think? I considered breaking open a jar of peanut butter in my own car in the ride home, but knew that wouldn’t lead to anything good.
Once home, I actually basically destroyed an entire handbag of steamed broccoli for supper. Obviously that loaded me up, but limited to one bout of The Vampire Diaries, so of course I needed to make something else. Since I’ve been really trying to completely clean up my diet (without the goldfish), I chosen one of the best power smoothies.
Really even though, they’re SO far better then the conventional ones. I usually purchase mine from Investor Joe’s, but if you can’t find them there, choose organic blueberries. I promise you’ll spot the flavor difference.
This recipe is sweet, simple, and a healthy way to begin your morning or to enjoy being a snack. Here’s why I find the pursuing ingredients:
Blueberries. Get those antioxidants in and your skin will shine.
Banana. Healthy carbs and help to thicken up the smoothie.
Spinach. That’s where the ability will come in. Spinach is normally full of nutrients and vitamins, and contains great fiber. Blend away – you will not notice the flavor pigs feet meme in any way!
Strawberries. I really like what sort of taste combined with blueberries & banana. And they are a great source of vitamin C to help enhance your immune system.
Almond Air flow Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Dairy. Packed with calcium, vitamin D, creamy and delicious; I’m a huge lover. Their almond-coconut milk can be to pass away for, too! Either will work in this smoothie.
A sprinkle of Chia Seeds. Did you know that Chia seeds contain a healthful dosage of omega-3s? Actually, they are among the richest place sources on the market. They’re also filled with fiber and proteins. Who knew just a little seed could possibly be so powerful? Make your sprinkle on or even better, blend them into the smoothie!
